London Councils is subject to the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004. This means that we are required to regularly publish information about the work that we do and the money that we spend. It also means that members of the public can ask us for any recorded information that we hold on any subject and we have a duty to provide them with that information unless an exemption applies.
We publish a large amount of information about our work on our website through our publication scheme. Please have a look to see the range of information that we publish before making a request.
Making a request for information
If you wish to request information which is not already published on our website through our publication scheme, please email FOI@londoncouncils.gov.uk or write to us at:

- Your name
- An email or postal address where you can be contacted
- A detailed description of the information you want

If your request relates to environmental information, it will be dealt with under the terms of the Environmental Information Regulations 2004.

If you wish to request information which is held by London Councils and which relates to yourself, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or write to the above postal address. We will treat your request as a subject access request under data protection legislation.
